Francis Tuttle Technology Center, a trade school in Oklahoma City, produces skilled workers with an entrepreneurial focus thanks to its Edmond campus. This 155,000 square-foot facility is home to a small business incubator, a makerspace, and conference space for business community gathering and was designed to spark creativity and foster collaboration. In partnering with A-Line Designs, we brought a forward-thinking vibe to the traditional trade school aesthetic.
That spirit of collaboration extended to our product synergy. Takeform products are designed to work together, beautifully and seamlessly. Displays and graphic installations at Francis Tuttle can include three or more products used in unison –with all the installations working together in a complete, cohesive graphic system.
In an aggressive, phased project, we transformed the designers' ambitious ideas and sketches into renderings and ultimately inspired realities.

Experiential Graphic Design
The raw concepts and rough sketches from the client's interior design firm, A-Line Designs, became realistic renderings and executable concepts thanks to close collaboration and ongoing conversations. A resulting wide range of installations took the client's story from refined to playful to technical, but always kept it on brand.
Engineering
With multiple products in play across room-length displays, product integration was key. We relished executing on the technical requirements and engineering challenges including back-lit halo-illuminated lettering, precise graphics and ceiling suspended dimensional letters.
Manufacturing
Multiple phases creates exponential challenges. This three-phased project required tight coordination of our internal manufacturing schedule to ensure we built and delivered product on time for each phase. Timing was of the essence, but so was quality. Multi-product wall installations demanded tight fabrication and color control across all processes.
Products
Custom Wallcoverings | Amplify
Amplify custom wallcoverings provide a stunning and suitable graphic foundation for interpretive displays and room identification graphics that layer on multifaceted accents of additional Takeform products like Ethos Dimensional letters. Together they bring forth Francis Tuttle's mission, vision and values and calls out quotes to inspire.
Dimensional letters and logos | Ethos
The inspired, on-brand tech energy of halo-lit graphics and suspended dimensional statements such as “Create,” Design,” and “Innovate” in the Francis Tuttle makerspace are courtesy of innovative Ethos applications.
Graphic panels | Moxie
The energy, ideas and magic of a space devoted to learning are brought to life with Moxie through imagery ranging from subtle portraits of faculty and students to curriculum inspired photography, artwork, and graphics.
Recognition Displays
Various wall-size displays throughout the facilities proudly note the faculty, students, and graduates making a name for themselves and Francis Tuttle.
Wayfinding and room identification signage | Vivid
While the product name is Vivid, at Francis Tuttle things went impressively subtle. Vivid’s direct print technology precisely matched wall paint wall color – a look modern and minimal and ideal for the vibe of the space. The clean look let bolder graphic statements throughout the facility take center stage without compromising wayfinding guidance.
Install & beyond
Installation
We carefully timed the the three-phase project to key opening events. Each milestone required thorough, accurate and specific installations. The complex wall graphic displays we imagined involved multiple Takeform products, but we knew we had the skillful coordination to produce and install an on-point final product.
Ownership Services
Even with a brand new build, it’s essential to ensure the space stays on brand. Through our Ownership Services program, we'll support Francis Tuttle through periodic on-site assessments. Recommendations from our experts help keep the wayfinding, signage, and graphics as innovative as the ideas coming out of the campus.
